Halloween...

Monday night shift, our company celebrated Halloween.

I was at Union Bank from 1:00pm to 10:00pm. I conducted English Skills Training. It was tiring since this was my first time to facilitate this on my own! Anyway, I have my trainers at RCBC waiting for me and missing me. So, I decided to travel to RCBC to meet them.

The training team had always been active with company functions so even if I'm about to faint due to fatigue, I have to help hype the event.

So, I wore my costume and had some pictures taken (maybe by now you've realized how much I like pictures...hehehe...). I brought a jester hat of which I lent to Ralf (because he doesn't have a costume). I thought we are just going to take pictures... But then again... I was wrong.

I don't know how it happened but I became part of group who "walked the floor" (with the Management team) - we had to go to the 18th, 19th and 20th floor to check each account and give candies to the reps. That was too tiring! My legs were killing me that I even had to remove my sandals and walk on the cold floor!

For the Management team, my boss Mark wore a Death ("Kamatayan") outfit, with matching shears(?) and a "mini-me" monster. Jennifer Bremer (our Vice President) wore her blazer backwards and had some fake blood stitches on her face.

By the way, just on a serious and honest note, I'm not really fond of Halloween. Why? First, as a Christian, we don't want to highlight the works of the devil. I asked forgiveness from the Lord for having participated. I guess this day, I kinda compromised my faith. (God, I'm sorry...) But this thing I have to deal on my own... or should I say with God. I think the only good note with this experience is that I'm willing to support the company in sharing joy (and candies) to the employees... (Lululululu...)

Well, at least it's over. The next events would be Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! Now those events, I want to make sure will be something extravagant!!!
